dovrei forse temere certe parole
o una certa me
e invece no.
vorrei avere parole mie
per dire certe cose
invece no
oppure non ora, non qui,
che comunque ne serberò memoria.
solo,
non riconosco me
e le cose
tutte,
ed è
bellissimo.
non riesco a dirmi nulla,
nemmeno sottovoce.
iersera damien rice
mi ha fatto piangere
sul merluzzo grigliato congelato
aggrappata ad un tavolo
poi è passato sbarbaro,
montale
infine capossela,
tutti dalla poverabimbasola fortunata.
scagnetti è tuttora vivente
persino telefonante
in un radioso futuro
ma io ne rido
(è giornata)
e mi dicono che non devo piangere
perché
sono io
la mia casa.
the final cut
Through the fish eyed lens of tear stained eyes
I can barely define the shape of this moment in time
and far from flying high in clear blue skies
I’m spiralling down to the hole in the ground
where I hide.
If you negotiate the minefield in the drive
and beat the dogs and cheat the cold electronic eyes
and if you make it past the shotgun in the hall
dial the combination open the priesthole
and if I’m in I’ll tell you
what’s behind the wall
There’s a kid who had a big hallucination
making love to girls in magazines
he wonders if you’re sleeping with your new found faith
could anybody love him
or is it just a crazy dream ?
And if I show you my dark side
will you still hold me tonight
and if
I open my heart to you
and show you my weak side
what would you do ?
would you sell your story to rolling stone
would you take the children away
and leave me alone
and smile in reassurance
as you whisper down the phone
would you send me packing
or would you take me home ?
Thought I ought to bare my naked feelings
Thought I ought to tear the curtain down
I held the blade in trembling hands
prepared to make it
but
just then the phone rang
I never had the nerve to make the final cut
quasi opposte ma no,
che se mi allontano molto
è solo per avvicinarmi un po’.
poi procedure,
poi la paura,
poi
ciò che deve accadere accade,
I suppose.
ah (ah)
(sor)volare, dicevo,
poi mi sono ricordata tante cose, tante cose.
che questo è da sorriderne, sai.
mentre altro merita solo risata sguaiata, fino al vomito.
e adesso prendo IL biglietto.
se
non
che
tornar si deve, poi.
una gran fatica, di fronte al gate C10,
piangono i vetri, il tempo volo’,
mi tocca tornare, e comprare oneway.
il curriculum al namaste? eh eh
la mia amsterdam
mica riuscivo a scrivere prima.
e’ meraviglia non so dir altro
e io sto tanto bene.
